The objectives for the Coffs Harbour Technology Park are to:

• Foster entrepreneurship, innovation and the creation of knowledge-based and technology developing enterprises.
• Provide leadership in the adoption of innovation and knowledge-based industry development by regional firms.
• Manage achievement of the Park’s regional development, employment and economic activity creation, business up-skilling and educational pathways objectives.
• Promote effective relationships between industry and SCU, North Coast TAFE research and commercialisation of technology capabilities.
• Build, own and operate the Coffs Harbour Innovation Centre (yjos opened in 2001), providing business incubation and management development support for entrepreneurs and technology/knowledge based enterprises.
• Begin marketing to new consumers and competitor’s existing supporter base through mail-outs and promotions to maintain current growth in sales and service revenue.
