Sustainability is a new, emerging culture, responding to the compelling need to protect and restore our natural systems and their eco-system services, while providing for economic development and social equity. With climate change and population growth as key drivers, at no time in human history has there been such a need to change the way we do things. We need a complete re-design of our cities, towns and communities, our houses and buildings, our methods of resource extraction and energy usage, our modes of production and transport, amongst many other areas. Great changes are occurring now, and I encourage you to be part of the change.

With a built environment background, my technical specialty is buildings and their environmental impacts. I am also active in broader social settings, helping to bring about change by developing the capacity of people, communities and organizations to adopt sustainable practices and develop strong sustainability cultures. Arts Mid North Coast Inc is a non-profit organisation with aims to engage with all relevant sectors of the regional community to promote, facilitate and advocate for arts and cultural development across the Mid North Coast region

We oversees the development of the game of Australian Rules Football throughout the Northern NSW Region. Development Staff work in schools providing students with the opportunity to experience the game as future participants, fans or volunteers. AFL NSW/ACT had a great emphasis on the administration of the NAB AFL Auskick program for 5-12 year old boys and girls.

Other areas of development include facility liaison with local councils and supporting local clubs and leagues in their attempt to provide quality environments for their players and volunteers.

A talent program is also conducted to promote talented junior players through the Northern Heat zone.

If your organisation wishes to use the Innovation Centre Boardroom, a booking may be made with the North Coast Youth Career Connections office (one of our tenants). Enquiries should be directed to the Administration Officer by telephoning (02) 6653 2900 or using the forms (PDF or electronic) below. The booking form has been designed to ensure all bookings are favourably serviced. These forms can be forwarded via mail, fax, Internet or collected from the Reception Office at the Innovation Centre. Upon receipt of the completed booking form with applicable fees& charges agreed for , the Administration Officer will confirm the booking via email. Please see the Google Calendar below for availability. Please note that the room capacity is approximately 35. Fees are $100 per day + GST, $50 per half day + GST.
