The Coffs Harbour Innovation Centre is proud to have been associated with the Coffs Coast Innovation Showcase, held at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus on Friday 9th May 2008 as part of the Australian Innovation Festival, a month-long calendar of events and other initiatives to celebrate innovation throughout Australia.

Comprising a half day programme of speakers, including keynote speaker Alison Page from the ABC TV's New Inventors programme, the showcase highlighted some excellent examples of how outstanding results can be achieved through innovative design, process, approaches and collaborative efforts. Attended by some 80 people, the day concluded with a networking session which included the opportunity for participants to view a range of interesting exhibits relating to innovation.

The Innovation Showcase was held in conjunction with the NSW State Government funded Regional Innovation Advisory Service (RIAS) delivered by the Industry Development Centre (Hunter) Ltd (IDC). The program themed 'Building on Bright Ideas' included a free seminar and one-on-one consultations with innovation support professionals.
